Web Site (New web site up)

On Jan 14, 2005 the Melbourne Beats crew along with some 700+ people raised around $17,000 for the Asia Quake & Tsunami appeal. This forum is an archive of the organisational discussion for the event.

Web Site (New web site up)

Post by lucas »

Are we still wanting to put something up at: http://aid.melbournebeats.com/

Please let me know.

If so, I'll put the flyer there, and maybe the press release.

looks the business! 8)

Just one thing though... bRb has said in one of the other threads NuBreed are keen to perform as The Dirty Fours - and this will be the first time they'll have done so ever! Any chance we can start updating info to reflect this?

Otherwise top marks valuetime :smt041

Which thread was this?

I recall him mentioning this on Wed night, but completely forgot about it.

I just copied the information from the press release. Does that mean all our press releases and promo threads are wrong too?

OK cool.

Well, in terms of the web site, that text is contained within a graphic, so valuetime will have to make this change methinks.

Not sure it'll be an easy change either, will cockup the layout a bit. =\

See how we go.

i'm hactually wondering if it's relevant? i mean, more ppl will recognise nubreed than the other name, so maybe for crowd pulling purposes we should leave it?

(and no, i'm not trying to get out of changing one graphic, ya cynical bastards. ;) )

I agree with valuetime on this one, I don't think it's necessary to change it either, aside from trying to get a few house heads down there....

I think punters will be stoked either way as they will recognise the breed boys regardless...

we agreed to keep it as nubreed on the flyers.... but in press and media releases we have to say its nubreed performing as dirty fours.
