pc means you want to run windows on it? :P

toshiba, lenovo (thinkpad series only) and acer make good machines.

I've been using a T43 for a couple of years now... lots of power... works a treat.

i'm running a macbook on os 10.5 for location recording stuff. Windows XP works flawlessly under bootcamp; I run Cubase 4.0 with a selection of other vst's with no problem.

...obvoisly the windows apps & plugins don't fuction under mac OS though.
