was watching some of the vids the other day... looks impressive and versatile

you intending to use it more for production or performance?

i like the fact that it integrates easily with things like traktor scratch pro (what i use), ableton etc, but not sure if i'd be able to use that kinda thing live often enough to warrant the purchase. and there are so many other great options for production in terms of hardware

nativeinstruments are the shiz though. saw that guy do a talk/demo of various bits n pieces at storedj late last year

had a quick look at storedj the other day.

feels ace. price not too bad i spose seeing its halfway to an mpc and theyre mostly over 3k.

on a NI side-note, Traktor scratch pro 1.1.2 came out yesterday, installing now.

hope it fuken fixes the midi-clock problems. just did keymappings for korg nanopad and nanokontrol, wanna get the most out of em..

I changed my mind anyway and grabbed the SONAR POWER STUDIO with a M-Audio Axiom 25.
Now i got 6 in-6 out interface running battery with Sonar so i have heaps more options.
Last minute decision, but ive been pumping out heaps already with Sonar, so good decision i think.
Maschine would be mad for a live kit though !

Once you set it up its sweet, a bit of fucking around though.

One thing i cant figure out is when i use it with Reason, my roatary knobs only move what i assign it to by a bees dick.
Meaning, i assign a knob to a cut off and it works but i can twist the fuck out of the knob and the cutoff moves like a smidge ???

The Maschine looks fuckin sick for a midi controller, wouldn't want to be writing riffs on it though you need a keyboard for that.
