hint: SVHS uses same tapes as DAT, but only uses half the tape for audio, meaning you get a very similar sound from it...I used to record onto SVHS.

oops, so SVHS is ADAT tape...you know what I mean...(can't edit post because it's not been approved, sigh)

A guy I work with has some portable Sony dats and he said he might sell one but needs to work out a price. Out of interst what are you going to use it for?
