if there were an accompanying keyboard and some drum pads, and you could record clips from them on the fly or do overdubs, it would be pretty special.

Looks cool, I wonder how it will implement with software though... whilst it looks slick, a severe shortage of labelling could prove quite hazardous, particularly on such a large controller.

Might want to limit your drinks and party accessories with this sucker :wink:

I reckon he's running live, reverb on the snare sounds like live's grainy verb to me. Probably interfaced with MAX or Arduino.

I recon since he's built and programmed it from the ground up he'd have a fair idea what track was what and what knob did what. The tracks change color when he selects a new bank of sounds/'song', too!

Needs John Travolta circa 1977 Action Figure though :lol:

hahaha totally. or MJ billie jean impersonation.

i find labelling not to be important. after a while you get used to where all the buttons are and it becomes natural. until then you practice. after all you don't label a piano!
