I think everyone has their own ideas but some things are universal, aren't they?
Big bassline, triplety switch up sections, icy chords, shoegaze moments, false drops....etc
What's your formula for a good tune?

To have no formula and just let it flow! That being said it's hard not to get caught up in formulas especially when being influenced by other tunes. The best tunes as far as I know get done quickly as they are build on inspiration, which can die pretty damn quick. But yea good melody and harmony can go a long way and I reckon are more important than technical flexes.
