Monitor comparisons

Hey Im looking at buying some new monitors in the (Hopefully) not too distant future. Im tossing up between two.. Was wondering if anyone had much experience with either of these two.. or if theres any better options for around that price range.
The two im looking at are:
Event Opals or Adams S2X
They both around $4000Aus for a pair.
One argument agains the adams is the idea that no other PA or FOH system uses ribbon tweaters.. My my idea that supports the adams is that ribbon tweaters would offer a much more pure and transparent conversation from signal to sound, resulting in more truthier truth (ugh, sure why not, fuck english).
Thoughts?
