Just over the course of the year I've been getting into mixin it up more and more - nothing uber special or anything, but I'm having fun. Problem is, I've got a shitty soundcard ... so the quality of these mixes isn't fantastic and I've had no monitor channel to cue anything up on, but most of it works fine.
Anyway, see what you think - any feedback is appreciated. It isn't exactly a showcase of the newest and best tracks, mainly chosen from personal taste and what was in my mp3 collection at the time - all are mixed using Native Instruments Traktor program, couldn't be bothered time stretching stuff for Ableton (later, when my soundcard is healthier).
Once I get a decent line-in on my soundcard, then I'll start recording on the decks (yay, good quality and proper beatmatching! Traktor sucks on the time-stretching and sync'ing side of things).
1st mix - not that good, lots of nubreed, just a test mix for Traktor.
2nd mix - personal mix, bit of fun, getting used to Traktor at this point.
3rd mix - getting better, better pace and phrase-matching.
4th mix - some newer tracks thrown in with some older ones, starting to get the hang of it now.
