this is for my 30th, I want the primo shit. I even called James Boags himself to try and ship a keg of his finest my way, no go.

I can get them for $350 each, but I reckon I can find 'em cheaper than that.

James Boags Premium isn't avail in Kegs... Draught and Strong-Arm are though, but I guess you'd want premium.....

Glenny, ur best bet is to just ring pubs / hotels / pokies etc.

I can get non prem (Carlton etc) for $130 - $150..No brewrey will sell u a keg unless its a microbrewrey i.e mountaingoat etc.

Boags is gonna be expensive tho mate, but if u cant find one lemme know and i'll do a ring round for ya as a i deal with pubs/clubs all day everyday..

You really need to start homebrewing tho mate, last night i gassed up 50 litres of the best pilsner i have ever made all for about $80 and as u know from experince ;) will prob kick the shit out of any company made beer.

yeah I know man, the home brew is where it's at. I've just gotta make the jump and buy the necessary gear. (then have you over for a brewing lesson)

I shoulda sorted this months ago and had shitloads of my own Beer :?

Wish I wasn't such a Beer snob sometimes  but I refuse to drink carbonated dish water on my Birthday.

been a while since I've sampled the Mountain Goat on Tap. might have to try it and see if that could be a goer.

would definately prefer Stella/Asahi tho' :D

Give it a go BrB. The good lord knows I take my beer extremely seriously but as I think I've said a million times before Mountain Goat in the words of Mellogs is absolute tits!!! The most underated beer on the local market.

They also do a new premium which in my most humble opinion embaresses the likes of Stella and Asahi. Big call I know but everyone I've made the same call to has tried and agreed.

Just called a friend who can get Stella for around $220, no Asahi, though.

Agree with the Goat calls - I love it, but I also realise it aint everybody's favourite.

^^ Yeah dude, I worked in a cafe/bar/restaurant for a year. Goat was easily the best beer we had on tap. However, bogan suburbanites used to call it goat piss. They said that however made it must be a complete dickhead. RIIIIIGHT

I s'pose it's pretty different to Toohey's Red
