Melbourne's hottest new cafe and nightspot Workshop has launched, and with it a host of new ideas and outlandish concepts. One being that of DJ's Seven, Dust and Lynt, we call it ANYTIME. Continuing fortnightly from March 10th, the cats who're known best for their contribution to the drum&bass and breakbeat scene have peeled off the faster tempos for something a little more intimate.

ANYTIME is just that, breaking free of the tempo regime and playing a host of our favourite beats in our collection. From our homegrown roots to shit we bought yesterday, it doesn't matter. What matters is the unique oppertunity to play what we love most, music.

If you haven't been to Workshop, then pop down on the lazy Friday and kick it in the beer garden to the sounds of Dust, Seven, Lynt. Our special guest is Melbourne's king of kings, connoisseur of a multitude of genres, from the early roots of hip-hop to the future of balifunk - DJ Ransom. Ransom will be programming a very special set for us, so get ready to get down to a 100% disco set. I can safely bet you haven't heard anything like this before! This is not to be missed!. Dust, Seven and Lynt will be rocking downbeat, hip-hop, rare groove, and the deepest of D&B... anything that's got the rhythm.


Lineup...
8pm: Lynt (hip-hop, downtempo)
9:30pm: Seven (nu-jazz, funk/rare groove, ultra liquid d&b)
11pm: DJ Ransom (disco)
12:30pm: Dust (hip-hop & beats)
2am: We play till we get kicked. (jager, tequila, snort pocket)

Just confirmed.

We've got another special guest on the night. Fresh from his Australian tour with the Good Vibrations festival and massive shows around the country, Dom from the Nextmen is dropping in to play a few tunes and drink a few shots.

We're absolutely stoked to have him at Anytime before he heads home mid-march!
