:( Seeing as how I have no sense of direction.... are those storms going to be hitting Richmond? I have to work tonight and there's no way I can bring all the plants in on my own. *sigh* and it means no customers either.

I'd assume they're gonna hit all over, but the worst is down south.

i'm hosting the family christmas lunch, first time ever it won't be at my parents (we're doing it early this year as my mum will be o/s and my dad will be interstate on the actual day)... and i was planning a bbq...

normally it's lunch at my mum's and dinner at my dads. but both families are coming to mine this year - first time i'll have my parents together at christmas since i was 12!

so i was kinda hoping for sunshine :(
sorry to hear that. I can see why you are disappointed. Can you may be do a loungeroom picnic thing?

Ani- seeing Richmond is in the outer north and the city is considered inner east, with the bay being west of west, i believe the storms are going to move from south east to north coming in on the westerly, so richmond should see some the east end of the storm, its a big front i believe. im heading south of south for saftey.

RUN FOR YOUR FUCKING LIVES!

8) south of south 8)

im helping with music for the wedding, i have a bunch of stuff already planned

gotan project immediatly before
Nat Cole directly after
Crackpot a bit later
a bit of blue eyes
freestyle files
ranson physics2 disk2

that sort of mellow stuff and some disco cheese for the dancefloor later...

any other ideas for a romantic downbeat selection for a garden wedding with the theme of "stunning"?

YOU SAW GOTAN PROJECT!!!! dope!

When my boy told me he wanted me to assist with music for his wedding and he said it was in a beautiful garden the first thing i thought was "i finally get to use gotan project in the perfect circumstance" is has checky parisian vibe, yet a somewhat atticipating beat... can't wait.

Barry White, when they head off the bedroom, for shizle.

I thought maybe some Rage Against the Machine or Pantera might go down well.

Try Kemal & Rob Data's remix of it, add some bounce to the Reception.

Yer it doesn't really make it into my top 10 of 2004.... maybe the top 50...

It wouldn't be a Parker/Stone creation without some gratuitous projectile vomiting.

I liked the Michael Bay/Pearl Harbor song... that made me laugh so hard (only cos I worked for the distributor of the aforementioned film at the time of its release and I remembered how crap it was and we had to sell this film! so yeah that was funny..)

La Trobe Uni. I'm not sure how long they have been up, I only thought to check them today.
Congrats on the job offers! Nice start :) Wouldn't mind the car myself  But judging on my career of choice, I better get used to driving dodgy old 4wd's!
