To all those playing...
I'm trying to get onto Jane right now regarding some drink cards for ya. Normally, the Mercat does half price drinks for performers, but they dont do free alcoholic drinks. For BW, we have to buy the drink cards we give out to guests. Trying to sort everyone who's donating their time a free alcoholic drink, but no guarantee. Free cokes though! Will get back to you when I know the score. See ya'll tomorrow...I'M PUMPED!!!

Hey,
What a wicked party. Rocked up pretty late due to work when Lynt and Guyno were playing, great vibe in all the rooms, especially in the breaks room where it was going off. Lots of people there = a lot of money for Starlight! Well Done!
Great to see a lot of familiar faces, including that suspect Ben Hibbert fellow - welcome back mate. GM, you were in fine form last night!
Had to bail pretty early to get up and do some study this morning. Big ups to all the organisers of the event. Catch you all soon!

This was a super party... exceeded my expectations. Well done to everybody involved, good to meet so many of you, and good to chill with familiar faces. Great, chilled, pleasant, attractive, dare I say hot crowd. A couple of blips, fallings off stages, dj hissy fits, lost jumpers, coke machine across the street eating my money and psycho flashing rabbit heads.
As for audio, the first sets I've started to play with and prepare for the web sound fantastic. There came a point where I couldn't keep tearing down and setting up in a new room, so the last couple of hours was all breaks room, missing out on super sets from the hip-hop and dnb rooms. I'm working on getting the audio up ASAP.
Cheers guys, was great.

So stoked to hear the first mutterings... sounds like last night was a success. I was feeling less than after some vaccine action, so all I could do is lie in bed, feeling bad about feeling bad.
Big ups to the guys who put blood, sweat and tears in for a good cause, and to everyone who was able to supprt them. Truly sorry I wasn't there.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."
Big ups to those that made this night happen!
Rocked up early which was weird for me as I'm use to heading out much, much later.
Had a wicked, wicked time though, running round between the rooms, meeting new people and just having fun. Loved it!
But as the night progress got way too tired to stick round longer, so hope rest of the night/morning panned out well.

That party was fuckin' awesome tho', I was there from about 4:15PM and ended up staying 'til 7 or so. It was a MEGA effort by all involved (especially Eric) and the fact that 700 peple rocked up is fuckin' fantastic. Needless to say I'm feeling a little bit crap right now.

great night guys. proud as punch. took me a few hours to find my stride after big dins and too much red wine...but the tunes were wicked and kept me there till close. loved sleiker's set and hats off to lynt, guyno and rollin connection for rocking sets too.
also bigs ups to the LMB for dropping 'electric disco'! in all my years of clubbing I've never heard it played out...so that was a bit of a treat. (not to mention you're a steallar bitch too )
will be very keen to see how much was made...the place was rammed!!! shame the balcony was out of action...but hey...can't have it all.
big fucking ups everyone who organised it. very possitive steps for 'the scene' and people attitudes towards it. love your work.

If anyone managed to take a set of photos, I'd love to host them in the Breaks.com.au gallery ...

OK, just added up the funds. Talked with Fi on the phone and realised I read the clicker wrong...it was 678 not 768 (this includes DJ's, MC's and all personel who worked the event--basically, not all payed, at least that's what I figured out). Sorry about that. Here's the break down...
We made $7,919.00 on the night (including door, raffle tickets and CD's).
We owe $3,544.00 in costs (Inpress, CD's, etc)
That leaves us with a modest figure of:
$4,375.00 to donate to Starlight Foundation
I'm a bit bummed we didn't hit the $5,000.00 for the wish, but we still got a ton of CD's to sell. This will be more cash coming in for Starlight. Fi and I discussed waiting til we hit $5,000 donated before we take the pic handing over the check to Starlight, I've talked to Melanie (Starlight) about this and she's cool with that. I'm hitting the bank after work tomorrow to pay the bills and transfer the cash to SF.
Great job, people. I think I had huge numbers flashing by my eyes, but over 4 grand is still a great effort. Plus, we have the ability to make raise more...we just gotta push the CD's. Most importantly, the blueprint is there for us all working together on future charity events. Great vibe in the place last night!
Also, if anyone knows an accountant or someone like that, please get me into contact. I'd love to not have to worry about that part of it. Not really my strong suite ifyaknowwhadimean. Someone down for the cause.
Til next year...GREAT WORK MB.COM!!!
My favorite sets of the night (didn't get to watch all that many): Keir, Finna, Lindemon, Snowie, Guyno, Little Evil, Gsan

Wow, I'm a little tender today. I danced my arse off last night and can't find it anywhere now.
But what a party! Had a great time with all the crew, Deviant, Chicken, keenie, Sea, Lindsay, GM, Dust and the shonks. Good to meet some new faces too - if I recall correctly I met Glenn, Rose, Jacqui, Frannie and some others whose names escape me (sorry).
Set of the night for me would have to have been Heath Myers, I was pleasantly surpised and well impressed with the tunes he dropped. But big ups to all the DJs and to the organisers for all their hard work.

Just want to say big ups to everyone involved and very nice work.
Unfort I came down with something on Fri and basically spent the entire weekend in bed. Was gutttered I couldn't come and felt terrible I wasn't there to support, but in reality I didn't have the ability to leave the house, let alone make it into a club.
Great to hear that it all went well.
