The Dubplate Files Vol. 1 mixed by DJ Quest....
Pretty weak, picked it up at JB for 15 $...
Its perfectly and tediously mixed, with a range of released and unrelased Cyberfunk family tracks from Mile High, Cyberfunk and Combat Wax labels...
Except pretty much 2/3 rds of the tracks are Odissi tracks or remixes, full of her 'emo' style singing and get pretty boring very quick.
The two decent standout tracks are G-Breaks by Entity and No Fear by Quest, both fairly heavy bassline tunes.
A very weak and dissapointing release that does nothing for the label except promote shit.
and yes Quest, Odissi is pretty and she is your girl but her tunes arent good enought to take up the majority of a mix cd reperesentign Cyberfunk dubs.

From what i do remember though, Calibre played a great set, lots of quality tunes.
No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.
It's hazy, but Intalex destroyed the place! Danced and screamed like a demented chimp.Lauren wrote:yeh i regret getting so drunk...i vaguely remember his set. Intalex? For all i know he didnt even playHardy wrote:Random Calibre tracks, reviving fuzzy memories of Saturdays brilliant set.
