Ok, I've used the internet for a long time and rarely am I shocked.

What the fuck is the context of that picture and have the subjects been mocked accordingly?

I don't think the whole thing started on the internet did it?

I thought the movie was announced then the internet made trialers came out, which included the "There's mohterfuckin' snakes on this motherfuckin' plane" line, which later got re-shot back into the already shot movie to please fans.

yeah jbs.
that seems to be the way it is after reading / hearing some more shit about it...

i cant believe i actually spent some time going arond trying to find the answers to these quesetions....
I had some links, but i cant remember them..
like the blog of the dude that was hired to touch the thing up a bit. goin on about how good it was, a lot of people saying that they were into the idea straight away just because of the name of it.. the dude who wrote it wrote it in like 92.. then changed it a few times.. apparently the part of the movie that is his is the part where it is actually on the plane, how it got onto the plane, and what happens after was written by other people or osmething.. they jus loved the idea of having snakes on a plane or something..

apparently jackson saw the name of the movie and said. yeah i want in yada yada, once that got out tha the was part of it, i think the trailers came (the fan trailers) etc etc.
changing its name / changing it back / many people bieng stupid.. *shrugs*

I really should do some fucking owrk

From what I've read, the producers have added DVD bonus scenes based on the internet phenomenon... like the famous Samuel L Jackson line 'i've had it with these motherfucking snakes on the motherfucking plane' (or whatever it is)

The reason for the title is that someone was interviewing Samuel about the movie, and asked him about the name change. It was going to be changed to something else which I can't remember right now. He just came out and said that they're not changing the name (apparantly he hadn't talked to the producers about this)... And when Samual L Jackson says you're not changing the name, you ain't changin shit!

rumour has it that the rumours are part of the viral marketing campaign and if you can't see that you need to watch out for emails that tell you you've won a million dollars. THEY ARE NOT REAL!

saw it last night. from the first two snake bite scenes i knew it was gonna be good. it even managed to poke fun at b-grade entertainment, and it beat the shit out of most modern (american) action movies by a mile.

i wish i could find a pic of the first snake victim. fucking hilarious.

Loved this film.

Lived up to my expectations, and then raised them one.

Cliche city. I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. And the whole cinema started cheering and clapping when S.L. Jackson pulled out the "I've HAD it with these Motherfucking Snakes on this Motherfucking Plane".

Keep an eye out for the robotic snakes in the aquarium in one of the last scenes. Some of the places people got bitten were funny as truck.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

Agreed

I enjoyed this film a great deal. The thing about having a planeload full of people is that there are plenty of people to kill. And they weren't shy about killing people.

This film was everything I expected it to be, which is a completley ridiculous plot with terrible acting and glaring holes on the plot. All in all it made for fantastic viewing.

I give this film two and a half liberty bells.

like a couple nights ago someone said they'd heard someone talk about it.. and while we were watching the tv, they saw the add and that was all they knew about the movie..
damn people without the internets hahaha :p
but yeah.. me findin it hard to find ppl who wanna see it
