Main Stage for me also.
If it were Freeform Five Live I'd def see them.. but not for a dj set.
And especially not when cut chemist and coldcut are on!

Two of the stages are inside big tents yeah?
EDIT
EDIT
So.. are the stages in the circus tents? What’s more we have secured an amazing new venue right in the middle of Melbourne. Situated on the Yarra River next to Federation Square, Birrarung Marr park features avenues of elms and large terraces. It was purpose built for public events so the wide open spaces provide great views across the city and the perfect environment for a music festival. Close to public transport and parking facilities Birrarung Marr will feature three stages with plenty of cover from two large circus tents and heaters throughout the site to keep you toasty warm when you take a break from the dancefloor.

THe map of the venue is in Beat and Inpress this week. I am real excited about that alone. Love a new space, and hitting the beats from the hills will be dope with the view of the city one way, the G the other and the river and kaos around. and yes, two tents according to the map,
1) where they have the circus tents on top of the hill
2) on the bottom flat land near the river.
Dope.

Where have they positioned the big screen tv showing the footy?DBoy wrote:THe map of the venue is in Beat and Inpress this week. I am real excited about that alone. Rad - those stages look massiveAndrewF wrote:I don't plan to pass out, I was hoping I could leave the venue and come back in though. Any ideas?
Anyway, I've been watching them set up for the last day or so. Exciting!
Glad i'm getting there early. Going to be one of those days that goes way too quickly
I can see those tents housing some very messy peoples
They keep the heat in too which is good because the arvo is going to get chilly and I don't have my cloakboy with me this time
I'm sooooo 'cited!

looks perfect, think the top stage is the breaks one too.
Don't think the tents are that big, more space outside away from music than in viewing positions. Just got to work out where the bars are, im planning on giving my wallet a good shake. Seems also that they have run the fence around some fairly hidden spots, near trees and what not too, for those on the outside maybe.
