Promotional: Covert Operations Subscription Series

Post by system »

some good news for those into progressive D&B!

Covert Operations are launching a new subscription based 12" series of releases and are looking to gauge the number of potentially interested people. so, if you've been feeling the recent releases by people like ASC, Mav, ElectroSoul System, Seba and labels like Offshore, Warm Communications & Subtitles.. then head over and check it out. :)

here's the dilly-o:
ASC, on forum.cov-ops.co.uk, wrote:Early January '05, we are planning to get the next batch of vinyl out for you as soon as possible. This will be on a Subscription basis only - read more about that here:

http://www.techgroove.co.uk/ &
http://forum.cov-ops.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2776

There is a section on Tech Groove homepage which you can click on which will explain everything to you in detail, but just to recap, here's the deal!

The main reason for us doing the subscription series, is because drum & bass distributors simply are not interested in our sound and what we are doing. So if they are not going to let us get heard, it's time we took things into our own hands and tried to do it ourselves. Along with your help and support, we know we can make this work. Here's the wonderful music that you'll be getting your hands on very soon! (audio at Tech Groove)

COV006 - ASC - A. "Numatic" / AA1. "Pegasus 77" / AA2. "Streamline"
COV007 - Mav - A. "Out Of The Blue" / AA1. "Atomic Collision" / AA2. "Static Interference"
COV008 - Resound - A. "Lightspeed" / AA1. "Hi-Fi" / AA2. "Status Quo"
COV009 - Probe-One / Electrosoul System - A. "Protocol" / AA1. "The Morning After" / AA2. "Rhythm Of Life"

You will receive all 4 12" plates by subscribing to the series. If this takes off and is successful, then expect the next series to have music by ASC, Mav, ICR, Psidream and a few other surprises!

We will also be offering a discount on Covert back catalogue - so for instance, if you sign up for the series, then you will get a discount of Thought Process .01 or any other back cat. 12" you might have missed. More on this soon.

Soundclips are on www.techgroove.co.uk right now, so go and check out what you are getting for your money if you are still not convinced yet! ;)

Finally, please add this banner to your signature. Feel free to link to it for use on other forums and support us wherever you possibly can!

Here's the URL:

Thanks you for your continued support through these tough times!
Onwards and upwards huh? :)

correct. the original "post your details" bit was for ASC & the Covert massive to work out whether the series was financially worth doing or not.

get in while you can guys!
