Beats Working // Saturday April 23rd // FREE PARTY
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're back at it again. Seems like it's been ages since we had ourselves a regular Beats Working, what with Tipper and Melbourne Breaks Unite the past 2 months it's been a while since we scaled it back and just did our own thing. But that's exactly what we'll be doing on Saturday April 23rd.
Gone is the hoopla. Gone is the hype. More importantly, gone is the door charge. That's right, it took us a year, but Beats Working is back to being a FREE party again. Had to do some serious fenagling to get it done, but we did it. We'll be broke at the end of the day, but we never were in this game for the cash factor. It's always been more about good times and our friends and family and we honestly felt like schmucks having to charge all our mates for the good time. So grab a friend, grab the dog, grab your private parts, grab anyone and everyone cuz the FREE party has returned.
We've also scaled back on the length of the party due to the fact that we're all old farts and seriously living on muesli flakes, oat bran and prune juice. So time for the next Beats Working will be 10PM-5AM. Our good friend Blueprint will be taking the month off to work on new material, but lively Ben Stacey will be sticking with the proceedings. All the rest will be there as usual, so be prepared for Bogan Scotrod, Slick Hans-DC, Lippy Direkt and Fatman Obliveus.
Let's all get down for this one as we re-introduce Beats Working to the underground. See ya there...
Beats Working @ Brown Alley (Corner of Lonsdale+King, City). Saturday April 23rd, 10PM-5AM. FREE ENTRY!!! For guestlist addition, grab a piece of paper, right your name on it and send it to Canberra so Johnny Howard can have a good laugh. No guestlist to worry about no more, it's FREE!!!

But get ready for the ol' skool, underground, back-to-basics badboy bass-heavy bizness that was and is BEATS WORKING... gonna be sick, perhaps even fully sick!

Seriously though. Congrats man. I know how long you've been wanting the damn thing, you deserve it. Good luck figuring everything out.
DAMN!!! 8AM in the morning and nobody's on yet. You'd think you were all working or something like that. I on the other hand am watching Dumbo for the billionth time with my son.
Get this. We just got our car loan from the great people at VTCU. So we're going to South Melbourne today to visit some wholesalers with our agent. Fingers crossed, but OB1 might be driving something built in the 90's within the next few days, maybe even something built close to 2000. I hear newer cars have this thing in them called "power steering", did ya'll know that? I also hear they have this invention called "fuel injection". Some even have windows that go up by themselves without you having to roll them up. I'm going to be like a kid in a candy store.

OB the high roller!!!! Nice one mate.
You know the scene in Human traffic when the main character is driving his car to PE's "you're gonna get yours" blaring through the stereo?
I can picture Eric doing that on the way to teach class in his shirt and tie.
" my_98_automobile is_ vrrr, vrrr, vrr_ my_98_automobile's_so...",

I'm keen for this shooter btw: Adios MotherFucker (1 prt Tequila Gold
Shot/ 1 prt Coffee Liqueur)
That shooter sounds lethal...
I like a peach schnapps/jager combo as well, very smooth
This ain't no party
