ok i know this sounds whack (so whack i had to try some!) but there are some *new* rice crackers out called.

"corn rice crackers" (I know)

get the cheese supreme flavour - they taste pretty much like tasty tooooobs and are moderately healthy.

anyway. toobs are by far the best ever - they make my mouth hurt after awhile though :s

i thought cc's had disappeared too, for years, but they eventually came back. they're still nothing like they were at the height of their powers, but you can actually find them.

you could get contraband toobs from the vic markets. Whenever I wanted a fix I'd head over to the stall that sells flavoured popcorn and the like. They didn't come in the denim-coloured bag tho... that is 50% of the awesomness of this snack.

The other 50% is the way that they tear at the lining of your mouth.

I have a theory that toob flavouring consists of industrial factory sweepings, hydorcloric acid and fiberglass. Nothing else strips skin quite as efficiently.

Toobs were alright in my book. Those French Fries were plain nasty though!
