Taken 3 years for my to take that step...for 3 years i was doing homebrew kits from a can, adding hops and malt...which was fine, they taste ok...

But i took the plunge recently and have never looked back, its a fair bit more time consuming, but the end result is nothing short of amazing....Beers have improved 100% and i DARE anyone to come have one and tell me its not one of the best beers they have ever tasted.

As i said cooper kits are ok, better than VB or Carltons, using hops and malt u can make em better too.

I've got four wooden barstools and if any of the legs go talkabout i know who to blame ;)

Coopers old dark with double sugar and champagne yeast is the way to go as far as kits go.

As long as GS doesn' tyr to push your stool in, you'll be right.

I think I used a coopers kit once.

then I switched to the Muntons kits (among other english kits). they are much better, then usually come with two cans and you don't add powdered glucose.

the stout with liquorice essence was the best thing I ever did..... YUM

From anyone els maybe. Dan you know BrB. I'm not interested in getting to a shit fight wioth some one who has publicly whinged about my comments to his posts. It would be nice if other peeps on this site could respect what Lucas and other moderators have asked. I'm not getting into another negative comment slinging match with some one who promised to never read my posts.
