Roseanne was awesome.mrj wrote:Plenty of TV Series have gotten away with changing actors for characters no problem. For example Roseanne, they changed the actress for the Beccy character like 3 times and we barely noticed (although this may be due to the fact that Roseanne was so big she constitued the centre of gravity and thus caused light to bend around her). And I think Home and Away had like 8 Pippas or something.

George Lucas is not a man who learns from his mistakes
Hayden Christiansens performance in Episode II was so robotic he made '3PO look like Bruce Lee, and yet he stuck with him in Episode III. WTF? .
Star Wars has never and will never be about the acting.
Bring on the TV Show!

I swear by shell-toes. Pretty minimal snow absorption as far as kicks go.fooishbar wrote:so, it turns out it's frigging impossible to get kicks here in finland. everywhere stops at size 10. what the hell is that! so they just smile sympathetically when i tell them that i'm looking for size 14 (euro 48-49). so far my plan is to look around in london while i'm there, and failing that, just order from puma online and send them back if they don't fit
all i want is shoes that don't take in water ffs.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

Even towards the end of the movie, you are sitting there thinking "Yes, a new one with no Jar Jar Binks", and then BAM there he is. He's on screen for a second and doesn't say anything, but thats still not good enough. Any Jar Jar is too much. The fact that they guy who did his voice has spiralled into anonymity I think is overly generous, when in reality he should have been crucified, or at the very least taxed at a higher marginal rate or something.

Outta here. Off to spend a glorious sun-soaked afternoon in the Crown Casino.
It is criminal to be inside on days like today.

I'd have a night at mine but I have no furniture. Actually, that didn't stop a few of us having a game last weekend.

open up your gates, I got the keys to your city
I've still got five seconds on the clock to rhyme
and I ain't going to stop 'till the sun don't shine
no more.
Ahhh. Nothing like the lyrical genius that is backstreet boys to get me going on a Monday.
