I got an Xbox 360 too.
Just about to nail Gears of War in Normal mode. Up to the last dude - General Raam.

We have chrome hounds here at work but I haven't given it a play yet.
I can see it being more fun multiplayer.. the single player mode looks pretty lame.

Lost Planet : Extreme Condition
It has the best explosions I've seen in any game.

I'm waiting for Crysis.
oh, and Supreme Commander.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R will have a hard time keep up with graphical eyecandy considering that the newest screenshots look outdated.
also, it has an incredibly irritating name to type. too many full stops.

WoW = aids imo.
But that having been said, the first player to reach level 70 did so 28 hours after the game was released. Given the grinding between high levels in other RPGs, I take it this is a pretty big achievement.

the dude who hit 70 was a mage (makes grinding for xp hella easy) and had his whole guild helping him. still quite a feat - only problem is that to access most of the content you need "rep" so hes gonna have to go back and do everything properly now.
rob: the blood elves are cool - i made a lock on blackrock to see what it wsas like, their starting zone looks amazing, the character models are cool, their racials are imba (mana drain and aoe silence, both instant cast). draenei i havent played but they look stupid imo. Ran past a lvl 32 shammy in stormwind last night, apparently he hadnt slept since release (dunno why youd bother).
the new zones are incredibly, graphically look mind blowing, and conceptually they are awesome too. so well designed. ive done a few 5-mans and the new instances are great too. if youre gonna get back into it you dont need to worry, by lvl 62 youll have the equivalent of tier 2 from questing and instances.

i gotta admit i thought it wasnt gonna live up to the hype...but its definitly proven me wrong. Halfway to 63 now and i gotta admit the grind isnt really that bad.

"PlayStation 3 will finally be released in Australia on March 23 with over 30 games.
Only the $999 version of the PS3, which comes with a 60Gb hard drive, WiFi support and memory card inputs, will initially be available. The cheaper $829 version will be made available later in the year "dependent on demand"."
