unplug it, pry all the keys off, wash it thoroughly in the sink with warm soapy water and leave it in the sun for two days (perhaps longer) to completely dry out. that worked for me when i spilt coffee on mine, but mine was a mac, so who knows. i actually bet the guy who did it that it wouldn't work and lost.
Yeah they do. We and a friend fixed a phone at work (supermarket) this way once. We were having ice fights (ie throwing ice at each others heads) in the store room and the ice landed on top of the phone. After the ice had melted a bit the phone started going crazy. The Mixtress wrote:Wait, do you mean wash the keys or the keyboard itself?? We took it off the wall, opened it up and went to town on it using a hair dryer. Good as new.

The electrics will withstand a washing so long as there isn't current running through them. The Mixtress wrote:Wait, do you mean wash the keys or the keyboard itself?? Surely the electrics wouldn't withstand a washingvaluetime wrote:unplug it, pry all the keys off, wash it thoroughly
You can put apple keyboards through the dishwasher, so long as you let them dry thoroughly for 24-48 hours afterwards.
