State of Mind are making Big Noise allover the globe atm, with recent releases on Subtitles, CIA, 31 Records, Shogun + many more, the 3rd installment of the rinseout sessions is looking massive>
SOM drop into Melbourne for the 1st ever visit to drop a DJ set of massive proportions, Time to Rinse out No doubt.
State Of Mind, is the duo consisting of New Zealand lads Patrick Hawkins and Stu Maxwell formed in 2002. In late 2004, Total Science, were introduced to the State Of Mind sound. Blown away by the strength of the music they heard, the Oxford legends instantly sought to work with the talented duo, signing them for a series of 12’s.
State of Mind are making massive Noise allover the globe atm, with recent releases on Subtitles, CIA, 31 Records, Shogun + many more, the 3rd installment of the BBA rinseout sessions is looking huge!
Tracks from the SOM camp are currently on high rotation in the sets of Concord Dawn, Black Sun Empire, Doc Scott, Bulletproof, The Upbeats, Klute, Teebee & Calyx, Ed Rush & Optical, Phace, Noisia, Chris SU and SKC, and many more.
Their success both abroad and in NZ has been given huge recognition of late, where the State of Mind lads were awarded the title of B-Net Breakthrough Artists of 2006

Well going by the cheap list so far this gig is looking like a capacity event for the top room at Laundry, theres only around 20 spots left on the list for those that wanna come to Rinse out 3.
