To celebrate the signing of the Treaty at Waitangi on Feb 6 1840 NZ gets the day off.

Big up the expat Kiwis! What are you going to do??

I'll be celebrating for sure..

1) watching cricket
2) pulling my buzzy bee around the house
3) popping the cork on some lush kiwi vino
4) chips and maggi onion soup dip
5) listening to some dub
6) calling my cousie bros!

NZ has sold the largest amount of Bob Marley albums per capitia of any country outside of Jamacia!

But i doubt if his mum held on to have him born on that date

and likewise i doubt they signed the treaty on that date knowing Bob would be born on that date

i will be pulling a sickie so i can spend all day cooking me own fUH-Ken eggs and keeping cool til after school. Unfortunately the only kiwi beer i have managed to track down is Stein-grenades (which no dicerning expat can roll with) or Speights (which no dicerning jafa can roll with). Wheres the Lyon Rouge? or the Export Draft. WHERES DA FUH-KIN TUI?? What then do i put in my chilly bin??
