All a matter of opinion i suppose. I loved the Prestige and thought Talladega Nights and Miami Vice were two of the worst films i have ever seen. ever.mecka wrote:the prestige was fucking meh.
went on a spree tonite with dvds bought:
talladega nights
miami vice
superman returns
scrubs seasons 3&4
slither
depends on your point of view i suppose. i'm in it more for the excellent way its shot and the locations rather than the acting and plot. Michael Mann is a reknowned perfectionist and it shows in the way each shot is constructed. The Mixtress wrote:Miami Vice was pissweak IMO. Dragged myself through it though...now I have less brain space for more important things.
Didn't like this one AT ALL. Gave up and left the room halfway through the movie. The dialogue was mostly boring and I was over the animated effects after 30 mins. I tried, but it lost me.ash-man wrote:anyone caught 'a scanner darkly'? cool concept flick

Latecomers I know but we watched Children of Men on weekend and all loved it. It was ace and Clive is HOT. I want to marry him
and im not one for unresolved endings, but after that movie, it was okay to not really know what happened next, as the whole way along everything they were counting on was unknown...mrj wrote:scripticles on Children of Men. I don't know why people have been giving this movie shit. I reckon it was ace and thoroughly entertaining. Great story line, well executed, all that.

Old Boy was one of the best films i saw last year.Lizkins wrote:watched Old Boy on the weekend on Hardy's recommendation. I will now not watch anything Hardy recommends again.
kidding...but no really. jeebus christ.... you want fucked up, watch Old Boy
I don't get why everyone is saying the ending was unresolved? it was only unresolved insofar as we didn't get to see what happened to the world for the rest of eternity, and as such the same thing could be said of every movie ever made.ghetto kitty wrote:and im not one for unresolved endings, but after that movie, it was okay to not really know what happened next, as the whole way along everything they were counting on was unknown...mrj wrote:scripticles on Children of Men.
