Doc Scott the ‘King of the rollers’ is a true pioneer of the sound that we now call drum and bass. He Co-Founded Metalheadz and owns 31 Records which amongst many other influential moments launched the career’s of Australia’s very own Pendulum. In addition, he has released such legendary tunes as ‘Shadowboxing’, ‘NHS’ and ‘Here Come the Drumz’. After a break from touring, Doc Scott is set to return with a renewed sense of purpose and a bag full of big beats.
Doc Scott is not only known for his sharp mixing abilities, since his uniquely distinct programming skills also rate high on the list. In fact it wouldn't be an understatement to simply describe Scott as one of the best DJs on the scene. “Mixing to me is controlling the tempo, controlling the vibe and responding to what's around you. It's all about peaks and troughs and making me best out of people's recordsâ€.
2007 see's the rebirth, as it we're, of Doc Scott's 31 Records. Kicking things off in a big way will be his first solo EP in some years "The End Of The Beginning" EP followed by singles from Lynx, Mixmaster Doc, Dj Vapour & many more promising new school producer's.
Make no mistake, this year we’ll see Doc’s evolution into the future. To hear him mix it’s only obvious why he’s maintained his position in the d’n’b world for so many years : because he rolls it out like no other.
