more bass 1st birthday-bickety bang! saturday 14/07/07
bang on melbourne.
it is with much pleasure that i announce the next much anticipated presentation by morebass.
after a succesful 10 months at acemorning, a one off at the noise bar in brunswick, and time off for a european sojourn morebass returns from it's hiatus, for it's first birthday celebration of 'the expansion series' at the lush yet underground-overground glasshouse-51 gipps st collingwood.
morebass is set to go bang. with representation from the smash bang, brutal, semi retired and messy creations crews and some of melbourne's damn straight finest.
in addition to twelve months on the sub audible frequency we also be celebrating the migration to melbourne of Cam:01 from brisbane, and you saw her at morebass first suckers. cam came and played for us last year and oh my boy did she kick some booty.
this evening is one where we got the flow down to perfection. the main room progresses from house, to kooky electro, onto some breaks, over to miami, across to detroit and the booty and landing on a drum n bass rinse out. while our second room is gonna be on a chilled tip with some deep sublime house, minimal and electro beats, whatever toups decides she wants to do and melbourne's one and only bubble and squeak closing it down late in the night, these guys have been at it for over 7 years now and just keep going from strength to strength, both production wise and in their live performances.
in addition, with the advent of new smoking laws on july 1, we'll have it known that morebass will be smoking! or you will be, if you're a smoker, in the well furnished glasshouse beer garden, and it's a little bit classier than the one we came to know and love (and throw furniture over the fence) out at acemorning.
whack it in the diary and come for a dose of even morebass as we enter the 2nd season of the bass heavy shit, morebass expansion series.

in conclusion, morebass parties are more fun than any euphemism/metaphor/scenario i can describe off the top of my head. wait, wait, that doesnt sound very complimentary at all! i mean, they're awesome!
glad that you found this to be so pleasureable.
stay tuned for more (bass) to come.
abnd it wasn't actually si beggs. it was on one of his compilations, cursor miner. have found a load of very cool shit done by them since doing some searchs. check out www.myspace.com/cursorminer
