Heading over on Friday after work, hopefully get there before sun down so I can set up me tent and settle in for some boozing, tripping, chortling, dancing, lurching, lechering and so forth.

Will return home on Monday, if I'm able.

Rainbow Serpent Sunday Market Stage Lu’au
A tropical slice of aloha…again!!!

Can you please tell the guys that set up that sound-system to figure out that music sounds primarily 'shit' with 1/8 second echo and extraneous plate reverb effects coming off the pool & it's walls?

Set it up down on the large grass area near the back... It's just aching to be used and the audio will sound a million times better... trust!
Hell you could even face it toward the forest at the back and lose the shitty echo entirely whilst having the proper dancefloor area. ie: More people might actually dance.

Jus' an idea.

i don't exactly know where they were, but they were stopping almost all cars heading out that way and it was a pretty huge setup.

apparently they were visible from a while away and there were just heaps of cars parked way before with no one in the cars (obviously people had just decided to park on the side and go for a little nature walk perhaps?)

if it weren't so dang far i would get mobile and do a recon for you guys!!

lol Andy I saw that dude rocking out yesterday also!

Without comparison the best party in Vic.

Set-up was amazing this year.

Weather perfect. Music out of control.

For all you broken beat "purists" scared of the psy:

1. Burial - Archangel absolute tore the stage apart on Sunday.
2. Dave Pham mixed jazz into drum and bass and made it seem effortless (Gee he's good)
3. Several breaks tunes were heard on Friday night.
etc etc etc etc

Can't say enough good things. Best party ever.

Yeah there were tonnes of breaks tunes all weekend. The red bus had a few full breaks sets. That burial track was mad! People loved it. And yeah dave smashed it as he always does at rainbow :)

I heard there were around 7000. Don't know numbers from other years so can't really compare. Think it was similar number to last couple of years.
I'd upload more pics but most of mine are just of me and friends and our campsite and the silly munty things we were doing. I'll try find some friends ones and put them up soon.

Had a farkin ace time at Rainbow. Thanks to everyone involved.

Special thanks to Miyagi who set on Sunday arvo persuaded us to stay and rave for an extra day!

I was in pain yesterday and today but it was worth it x 1million!

Also special well done to the best rave outfits I've seen so far at a festival. Top work, Pat yourselves on the backs!
I've seen the 4th dimension

You gotta do it.

I've got to be the person least likely to enjoy four day doof parties and I rated this year's as one of the best experiences of my life.

Soooooo much fun. Next year I'm taking a super-dooper lazer water pistol and a space suit.
