Thanks to all the heads! Was a wicked night - big props to Xian for local dubplate bizzness for this..

dropped all the nasty former eastern block dubplates

additional thanks to JMD for his travel all the way from Geelong for only a short set!! props!

Big ups to the bands, busting out the old school styles upstairs, during Archie Martin's set, it was so subtle people didn't know there was even a band! The downstairs LAN party was only $2 an hour for counter-strike - all in mash ups!

Especial thanks to Ivan & DEMUS for putting on a great show in the old school pub style way! Haven't been to a good old genre bender since way back

Wikipedia wrote:A dubplate is an acetate disc — usually 12 inches, 10 inches or 7 inches in diameter — used in mastering studios for quality control and test recordings before proceeding with the final master, and subsequent pressing of the record to be mass produced on vinyl. The "dub" in dubplate is an allusion to the plate's use in "dubbing" or "doubling" the original version of a track[1]. The name dubplate also refers to an exclusive, 'one-off' acetate disc recording pioneered by Reggae sound systems but also used by drum and bass and other dance music artists, DJs and sound systems.
