The fourth holiday instalment of My Broken Beat Box returns this Queen's Birthday Eve to the Lounge.

Get set to party as some of the best DJs in Melbourne, DJ Snowie, Lil Stormer, Brain & DJ Ides throw down the original and the best of electro, techno, breaks, hip hop beats and body moving music.

We celebrate old-school ethics and future-funk sounds of breakers, rappers, producers and DJs of yesterday and today.Â

If anyone is interested in the etymology of the term 'woot' as used by Snowie, here it is:

"w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.

"woot! i r teh flagmastar!" (Think Tribes)

"Woot, I pwnzed this dude's boxen!'

"Woot, I am playing at the Lounge."

Another highlight of the night was seeing the crowd go nuts for the new Myagi tune, it was large
