Re: kicks/sneakers/trainers/runners
imho buying em too small means you might as well sell em\give em to st vinnies.....shoes do stretch, but if they're too small to begin with, they'll never feel right

What i did to soften the leather was get wet newspaper screwed up and put in shoes and let dry. make sure the newspaper isn't too saturated!ghetto kitty wrote:no, they aint too small....

Adidas releases Star Wars inspired Sneakers / Trainers
As part of their Summer Consortium Package, Adidas has adapted its classic Super Star to honor the George Lucas trilogy that serves as a surrogate bible for large sectors of the population. Yes, we're talking about limited edition Trainers that manifest both the light and dark sides of The Force.
The "Force Pack" features offers two variations: one good, one evil -- 800 of each. The "Yoda" sneak is decked out with cream-colored hemp uppers, reminiscent of the robe that Yoda wears on the swampy planet of Dagobah. The shoelace tip thing is lightsaber green, in honor of the Jedi Master's weapon.
The "Darth Vader" shoe is constructed of a shiny black vinyl that harkens back to Darth's creepy helmet and they're equipped with lightsaber red shoelace tips -- which, as you can see, are perfect for dueling.
If you were to own these babies, would you wear these to the new animated Star Wars flick -- or leave them in their hermetically sealed packaging for maximum collector value?

Re: kicks/sneakers/trainers/runners
yeah man, if i had 50k+ to spare and a room to put them in, sure, why not. Then I could build a computerised shoe train that delivered my preselected shoe of the day!

Have worn AM90's for years in a 14, so assumed AM1's would be the same sizings......was wrong, they're a size too big, need 13

Nike Dunk SB MelbourneResidents of our hometown Melbourne, know all about Flinders Street Station. People have been meeting under the train station’s clocks since before time began, and now we have a Dunk to honour the famous skate spot with the gold rail. The shoe features canvas, suede and mesh, with the varsity royal blue apparently inspired by Port Phillip Bay and the brown midsole chosen to represent the turdish Yarra River that winds its wiggly way through our magnificent city. Simple but eye-catching, it will be available in October at all great skate stores... Like the Homer Dunk, this is one SB Melburnians can call our own!
