What did everyone think? Personally I was mostly unimpressed. Set had its moments but overall I think the selection was pretty generic and uninspiring. Having seen the boys every other time they've been in Melbourne town, this was a sub-par performance in my opinion. Perhaps my taste has changed, but it was neither techy, nor hard enough for this punter. Marking my return to the Melbourne massive after being o/s for a year with this gig has left me sadly unsatisfied. Rig was definitely up to scratch, and the venue is great, but I just wasn't feeling it from Teelyx this time

There seems to be this bizarre notion that DnB and Dubstep go hand in hand. I don't know why. No one would bat an eyelid if a breaks night and a dubstep night clashed.

I think that may be because the same people that go to dnb gigs go to dubstep gigs, nothing to do with the music itself, more the crowd that attends in Melbourne.

Not that the promoter love idea has any merit, and not like this is a new thing to our city, or any other.

The fact that promoters make offers and adjust prime set times to try to accommodate punters is a big enough win for all in my book, i think we do bloody well to be honest. Could be a lot worse.

whoa, some heavy tunes laid down.... i thought they leaned toward the techy side without getting too dark.. the rig sounded perfect & good attendance too!
the 6 deck/2 mixer thing was very well done, but the show presented nothing that was overly impressive or new, although some of the drops were fkn brilliant..
enjoyed hooves/safire at the end also ... nice work yet again BBA!

When puting on gigs with internationals you rarely have much (if any) choice in the date. Beside, just coz you personally like both types of music doesn't constitute a clash anyway.... This is better than every dubstep gig being on a Sunday night anyways.

Getting bit over the discussion that promoters should talk to other promoters. When it comes to dates some can't be helped, if only punters saw what goes on behind the promoters side you'd stop your fucken whinging a sap!
