Was going to suggest that while smoking, in the preparation to quitting, it's a good idea to not have cigarettes when you normally do, out of habit. Breaking those cycles before you even attempt it makes it a lot easier when the time comes.

I'm trying to take my own advice but I'm smoking atm so...

Made it through the weekend and only had 3 smokes, all while on the piss. Pretty happy with that effort.

Only had a three on the weekend and havn't smoked since. Wore patches until yesterday, got through yesterday with nothing.
I'm talking about it Coco!

From 10 - 15 a day to 3 in a week. Going well.

Ok, so the week has been easier than I thought.
Weekend is the test though. I still go to grab one everytime i jump in the car and been a bit snappy at times, but determined to give it the kick.

Best thing I ever did. Although I still have one from time to time, I can't imagine being a smoker again. The habitual part of it is definitely the hardest to break.

Weekend without. I'm done. Actually really surprised how easy it is once you switch your mind. Much easier than other things actually. Well that said I still go to light up at every chance, not sure that will fade v. quickly. Long term habit there.
