Let the funk flow, beats kick and grooves move ya, Melbourne Town, ‘cos the newest weekly mash-up's got this CBD by the balls. Kickin’ off on Saturday 23rd May you’ll be easy like Sunday morning. We got equal parts funk, soul, disco, hiphop, house, rock, party beats and pop and an attitude to match. Come shake your body down to Word every Saturday night to witness this business with Snowie, Obliveus, Matty Radovich, Brainstorm and guests droppin old skool to no skool and one thing you can depend on is not remembering why you hurt yourself pullin those John Holmes porno moves in our version of Funkytown. It all happens from 10pm - 5am every Saturday night at Word (14 Goldie Place) and entry is only $5.00.

Looks dope my man!

Nearly all of the VIP Mix cd burnt, labels will be done tomorrow, getting pretty amped, i have to find/create a few special rockin mashups to live up to that title....I'm up for the challenge :D :D

Was at word the other weekend for the babblekin and kinship album launches. really nice bar and they sell Little creatures pale ale too...good venue.

This week see's the Heavyweight join the fray and our first guest dj.

The set times for this week are
10pm - 12pm Obliveus
12pm - 2.30 DJ Snowie
2.30 - 5am Guest dj - Citizen.com

And yes we do stay open til 5am, so come on down and join in the party, you should hear the sound sytem, there's only one word for it AWESOME!
