Re: Gripe thread
I am sick of this fucking cold, could even be swine flu.
Either way, i need to get better already.

Re: Gripe thread
Boss caught a flight from Sydders today cause at 5.25pm on Tuesday he got an email from the director of the building I'm working in (global office with 9 different companies renting space) to say the Sheriff was taking over the building at 9am Thursday morning and we all had to get out ASAP. Spent the day trailing behind my boss trying to find a new office for me. Found one at St Kilda Towers that twice the size of a toilet cubicle. Moved in by 7.30pm, just got home now.
I have to travel twice as far to get to/from work. Suxxors.

Re: Gripe thread
Was going to have a sicky.
Decided not to.
Get to work, no one is here. Partner's first day of annual leave and all the managers decided to "work from home" (Motherfuckers)! All other staff are out at clients.
I'm hungover.
I hate my job.
I have to stop having boring tuna and stop having a boring life.
Recruitment agent has not called, today is the third day, should i call her? She was an ugly cunt too!
I think i need to fart, can i do that in the office?
My coffee is about to run out.

clearly you should call her and tell her this, telling it like it is rather than just thinking it is the next logical stepkronz wrote:should i call her? She was an ugly cunt too!

Re: Gripe thread
im tempted to pack up and go and live in some random country,
where people say hello to you on the street and smile,
where nobody knows me as anything,
where the men are not afraid of me,
where the food is always spicy and cheap,
where the sun shines more often than not,
where every day is an adventure, not a known quantity that i walk through in a daze.
I thought i was feeling back to normal today, after trip, and bday.
but now i see, normal is shit.

my gripe
everything in the house breaking at once, fridge shelves all snapped down the middle (to Bunnings i go for repairs which is a BU's cos i love Bunnings), washing machine leaking, microwave not heating, and just a heap of little stuff around the house.
Also gripe to the landlord for rent increase again in less than 6 months, but forwarding it to 3 months time to keep it legal. Angry letter writing in process.

Re: Gripe thread
I know they are no better than starbucks or smaccky doos, but i love the fact that i stand in the middle and yell at the top of my lungs
'AISLE 23, WE REQUIRE A TEAM MEMBER, STAT" and then five little guys in aprons come running to answer questions i already know the answers to. love it.
and the only reason I second guess moving to Cambodia is cause nothing is regulated there at ALL, so while thats great for some things, it really isnt for others, including living as we are used to in this tax filled, law riddles society of westernization. (dumb whitey like me would get rorted constantly imo)

Got a 1 on 1 meeting request from my manager yesterday for 12:30pm today.....
It can only be bad as I had a training session and follow up with her already last week.
*worried*

Re: Gripe thread
Was presenting a meeting to major clients and a dude in freshwater place decides to have a smoke on his balcony in the nude.
I couldn't help myself... I was all "ZOMG nude guy WTF?!" and all my clients turned to look and copped an eyefull of chop.

I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

GOTY: I've got the job I've been wanting for fucking years - mostly autonomous, on the road and not in an office all day, great office in a beautiful city building when I'm there, kick ass pay... and yet I can't find my groove. This blows I should be killing it but I'm just not feeling it.
