I want a japanese one i decided - maybe a 'international trained' japanese yakuza cast off who is now mad about coffee and has tattoos and a heavy blunt fringe that severely restricts her vision - she also gets all teh english wrong except when its to do with coffee - then she gets it right. Otherwise she says hello when you leave and goodbye when you come home.

She is 5'11 and only eats fish, coffee and scoffs drugs to stay alert yet serene at the same time. She is the most strikingly beautifu yet unusual woman you have ever seen, one of her aims in life is to scalp Megan Gale and use the said scalp to clean out the coffee machine, not very hygenic but very raw. 'Megan Gale totemo ga ooi desu ne' she mutters frequently.

Her name is Sushi Legs Coffee Face, she is quiet slender as well. I havent thought about her boobs yet, that will be decided over the weekend.

lol nic.

i just had five days without coffee. not by choice, was staying with hippy friends who have a few teapots and no percolater or plunger in sight.

and let me declare, how much i love you coffee.

oh my fuck. i have missed your pungent aroma, your creme, your the sweet elixir of awakeness, and

I want to consume you every day of my life when i wake to the dawn.

I like holding off till about 11 before the first coffee.

It always hits so much harder than if I have a coffee first thing.

Tash, there's a coffee cart outside of Court on the corner of King and Lonsdale that makes rocking coffees.

They are not cheap, nor that close to you however at least you wont be disappointed with the brew.

I kinda got used to hot coffee in a can stuff.

Much better than a $10-12 AUD one in a coffeeshop.

Yeah, I got used to that stuff too... great to wrap your cold hands around in winter too... I had one really good latte in a whole 5 weeks over there. And that was in the most random place, at the Mt Aso Volcano museum

Stovetop shouldn't be like mud.... use a courser grind if it's like that.... Also, don't use a giant 6 cup one for only two peeps (or one for that matter)... the hopper should be (reasonably) tightly packed with each brew (as in, not half full for 3 cups in a 6 cup machine). you should use the size unit for the amount you want.

I bought a $600 Krupps one back in 2002.... was a total failiure, I had it replaced/repaired 3 times before totally giving up on it...... This cheap sunbeam one is much better.

that reminds me I need to go the Meditterean Wholesaler on Sydney Rd. They have stainless steel 1-3 cup stovetop espresso machines at a very reasonable price. I love my bialetti but once the aluminum corrodes inside they're no good!

You're right about the aluminium ones corroding, pc but the stainless steel just don't taste as good, IMO (We tried going healthy but have since reverted to the aluminium).

Ya only need to spend a few hundy for a home machine. As long as its 15bar it'll make a good coffee. Mine's a breville, and i make dope lattes on it. Really easy to use and gets good crema, best to invest in a good grinder imo. Baristas know best!
