If Amick doesn't finalise his team, or want to play - there's a spot available... otherwise, it's a full house.

Dude, it was a mirror of round 1 last year.

Had Judd have been playing - it would have been a similar margin.

To your credit, you guys played well... but I couldn't help but be amazed that it was blatantly obvious where the game was won - uncontested possessions.

Every time we got the ball we kicked to a contest, every time Carlton got the ball they passed to a player in the clear. Throw in the fact that we were atrocious with our disposals - and there's the game.

Dustin Martin will be a great player for the Tigers, I'm confident of that. One shining light.

I was pissed off at the start of the game though - Richo was meant to do a lap of the ground but bypassed about 1/4 of it. We were on the fence in the Ponsford stand and he didn't come within 50m of us. :(

Fucker!

He should have done the whole lap - to be honest though, he retired last year though, so why all the hoo haa for him now?

Dustin Martin was good, the kid with the dread locks looked lost, cousins did alright and Jack Riewoldt isn't a presentable option up forward - looked out of place last night.

spot on with the disposals though - it was a touch scrappy at times. noticable from our side was how tired we got towards the end of each quarter and Richmond pegged a couple back in the first and second.

Good to have footy back regardless of the outcome!!

Yeah, good to have footy back. You guys should go alright this year mate.

Richo retired last year but never had a chance to have a farewell as he retired post-season. Hence the hoo-hah?

Jack is usually okay up forward, he got 2 goals last night. But he needs to bulk up some more.

You guys have quite a tall team!

hehe Feigs did you hear about who Eric and I ran into the night of Spiesys 30th?

Eric was playing at Veludo on Acland st and no shit Richo was there, so i go up to him and politely ask if he would mind wishing Spiesy a happy 30th as he was a long time Richmond fan and was gutted when he retired.
Barely let me finish before he was all 'nah nah nah'.

I was just gutted cause the last thing i wanna do is talk to Richo.
(last time i saw him at a bar was when i was ~18 (it was Cheers/Caseys in Hawthorn), he was there with Nick Holland and another footy player, cant remember who though and he was throwing ice at some girls, they cracked it and told the bouncer, then he blamed it on us and we got kicked out! fucker, hated him ever since)
