Saturday May 15th will be the launch of what will (hopefully!) become Melbourne's most eclectic monthly music night. With a mix of chip, breaks, rap, rave, glitched out samples and kickin' party beats, New Classic brings you a night with a little something for everyone.

I'm running/promoting this party with Talkshow Boy from Keith! Party. It's a mashup of all my chipmusic (vintage low-bit synths and 80's family computer sounds) buddies and a bunch of other random broken beat guys and gals.

ROMY (Macromantics/Heavy Mental) – DJ SET - “Tidal synth soundwaves of sentimental bliss.” Romy is a chameleonic pop mastermind and inspirational party animal! You may know her as righteous rap star Macromantics (appeared on Triple J, supported Lily Allen, played Homebake, released through Kill Rock Stars, conquered the world etc). You may have seen her play with Ben Lee in Noise Addict years ago. You may have seen her more recently wielding an axe in radical hair-metal combo Heavy Mental or heard her hot new lush pop jams recently released simply as "ROMY".
