electronic roots music enriches regional traditions with deep bass and meticulous production, taking global urban sounds onto the worlds dance floors.

TROPPO LOCO is where to find it in Melbourne town.

Hear the sounds of nueva cumbia, post-baile funk, kuduro, coupé-décalé, kwaito, soca, dancehall & neo ragga… alongside the more exotic forms of tango espacio, bionic forró, zoblazo, aciton & flamenco galáctico.

Residents Paz, Mr Fish (Reunion Island), bP555, wanklerotaryengine & Yoink! are joined by others linked to the Uber Lingua movement, and rotate week to week keeping things spontaneous…

The DJs and the crowd inhabit a common level, co-owning the party. Locally grown mashes of global traditional sounds and electronics will be revealed on a weekly basis, then thrown out into the ether for the world to enjoy. Hear them first at TROPPO LOCO.
