On Thursday 22nd July, Flow Lab launches 'Comfy Beats', an exciting new night of hip hop, glitch hop and dubstep, at the Comfortable Chair in East Brunswick on Lygon St (Tram 1 or . Comfy Beats will continue to run every Thursday night from 7pm till 12pm, with FREE ENTRY each and every week!

These events will feature amazing beats from a rotating line-up of Melbourne's premier DJs, as well as open mic from 7pm-8pm for all budding wordsmiths. Make sure you get down early to take advantage of the open mic AND the cheap beer!

There will also be live visuals by BIG BABY JUSTIN, one of Melbourne's most experimental and boundary-pushing VJs, plus give-aways and much more!

Rad...if you can either bring 2 of your songs on a USB stick before 7pm, or email them to me @ [email protected] at least a day before the event..ill load em up on my serato and you can perform to 2 of your own tracks...this offer goes out to all peeps with decent quality material, and ill email back letting you know if your in and if i got your tracks etc. The Vibe is chilled so preferably no track submissions talking about smashing cunts in the face with a baseball bat and eating their hearts raw etc etc..coz there's a time and a place for that but it's not Comfy Beats

Otherwise just rock down at 7 and spit a couple raps to whatever beats i happen to be dropping
