Not sure if this is a big up or a gripe!

I called my big boss a dick head this morning and i beleive he heard me from his office. I said it, and he looked down the hallway at me!!

When someone says good morninK to you, i feel justified to call them a dick head.

Big Ups my Nephew - playing hide and seek with his Great Nanny and nan's first turn to hide and the Chairman (as we call him) finds her in not time;

Nanny states: " Oh you always find me so fast Noah"
The Chairman states: " it's because your big bum sticks out"

Yeah, but it still doesn't seem that high to me.

Why are they easing water restrictions? So rich kents can wash their mercedes with a hose?

No need and shouldn't be until its 90% imo

big ups a great travel mate i met in Colombia getting married to a Brazilian chick... I think I am going to fly to Rio for the wedding and spend 2 months in Brasil mid nov to end of Jan... missing the cold european winter... flights are only $1000 return and the money i save eating drinking and sleeping in Brasil compared to Europe should cover a lot of that expense... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

sounds awesome quickster! rio wedding = fun sexy times i bet.

Bigups to being alive, to escaping car unscathed, to my support networks which reach across oceans and generally to all the love I have felt in the last couple of days. Feeling very lucky walking to the train station in the sunshine today. Each moment, you dont know what can change. Every day, no regrets, total honesty, grab every experience whilst also assessing risks and deciding what is and isnt worth it.

BU the awesome little group of friends I'm making. Hanging out with locals, home cooked meals and sharing music and experiences. Amazing how friendly everyone is here. <3
BU lazy breakfasts, good coffee and hindi music
BU a day out with some kids from one of our schools. Despite living in the worst of conditions, their bright eyes and wide smiles melted my heart. So open, happy and loving.

GOTD: turning up to work after 2 month holiday to find out my role no longer exists due to "restructuring" and they have shuffled me off to a department i have no interest in...but then...

BIG UP: Sorting through my emails only to find that the IT department have me in mind for a role with them and want to poach me and give me a sizeable pay rise + all training included.

Re: The Big Up Thread

absolutely.

Role in IT is very job specific, internal controls with a bit of help desk stuff, fixing bugs in the systems we use. I used to help out a bit with internal controls about a year ago so i have that experience already.
And because i started as a user of the system 4 years ago i have the experience which makes me more fitting for the role than recruiting an IT specialist outside of the company.
So yeah, just fell into an IT job without having to do a course...should be interesting!
Obviously they will be training me up though...
