Gripe thread

Re: Gripe thread
GOTD: This fucking Eid-al-Adhr (Festival of Sacrifice). I'd really prefer to walk to work without having to dodge cows in line waiting to die, breathing in the smell of their brethren being cooked and in clear view of another being skinned and carved up in a pool of its own blood. The office smells like a butchery and I'll no doubt be subjected to the distressed moos of another slaughter in a few hours.
Really questioning my red meat eating future tbh.
edit: Thoughts with you and your fam mecka-san. Chat soon pls.

Re: Gripe thread
My mates threw down a Hangi yesterday, apart from all the beast that I wasn't interested in ther was $40 worth of vegies that came out perfect. Sensational way to eat food.
Re: Gripe thread
^^^ shift to BU thread??? Can't really see much gripe, except for the exorbitant vegetable thing.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."
Re: Gripe thread
OK, the gripe was not being able to walk after smashing heaps of food.

GOTD: Psytrance. That horrible, relentless, banging shit that doesn't have any sort of soul or depth to it whatsoever. Nearly went insane at a party over the weekend after the chill out stage was cancelled and I was subjected to the grinding ear-raping sounds of heavy psy all night with no chance of escape.
If I didn't hate it before, I certainly do now.
Just sayin'.

Hardy - I'm sure there's some decent psy out there, in fact, I'm sure I've heard some of it, but this stuff was fucking awful. It completely put me off the idea of going to Rainbow for fear of having to listen to it again.

go check out mainstage production before it opens, then the minute you hear the first oons oons oons, you give the entire stage a 500 metre radius the entire time its running and hang out at chill/market/other stages. then, the hour after it finishes, you go and check the dancefloor for lost baggies/rugs/feathers/stray parasols.
you can take binoculars & perch on the hill & watch the dusty dreadlocks flying in the wind with an esky and your own little boom box playing whatever you like. (we did this last year)

Spent my whole lunch break at the chemists getting passport photos done, after 5 attempts, they conceded defeat and I left empty handed. I am now empty stomached. Cunts.

see now that is your first problem, chemists deal in drugs not photography.
secondly, did they take it from your left side? cos that's your best side. Your right side tends to do weird things to cameras and to the photos, a bit like The Ring
