um

how about the beautiful beaches. how about going to a oceanside beer garden in the lovely warm weather. what about going to wet'n'wild for the day and careen around on amazing waterslides and have a ball.

if you want to spend your time in a darkened club listening to the freshest in german techno then no, there isn't much to do on the gold coast, but otherwise there is plenty to do.

GC can be alot of fun. But then fun is what you make it.
Also the first place in Australia to have zorbing, out north west of GC.

I'm actually going there for a week starting thursday, my sister lives tehre. My main gripe with the place is lack of public transport not being a huge fan of beaches so I tend to go to pools. Love dreamworld, provided it is a weekday that doesn't fall in school holidays.

It's really just a place to relax and let your hair down.

everything in my parents kitchen is so high tech, i cant work it.

they are hippies with everything else, but their kitchen is stained glass/wooden/hanging dried chillies and thats just a disguise for the most modern of modern tools to do everything waiting to thwart you.

i just microwaved a tepid cup of coffee for 3 minutes, and its not hot.

it took me half an hour to make a smoothie in the blender yesterday, it slots in to the top of a huge food processor, propellor thingie,
and every bit of it fits so snugly i nearly threw the smoothie at the wall.

they have a thing called a "mandolin" that is basically the most complicated and dangerous grater you have ever seen. the thing slots all inside itself and it took me nearly seven minutes to put it together, then the anticipation, and the subsequent let down of basically seeing it grated, not in little stars or love hearts or anything, it has six different attachments and i nearly took a knuckle off doing said carrot. afterwards, you get to take it all apart and wash every piece, making the total time to grate 1 carrot around twenty five minutes - SO HANDY!!!!!

i am going to attempt to make real tradtional pumpkin pie for xmas tommorrow. I am not worried, but i am pretty terrified of the kitchen.

so this guy at work is really starting to annoy me.
we never get shit done on time, and he blames it on this new guy being really slow
then turns around and says that the new guy just wanders about
so the manager says "well you should tell him what to do"
then he says that he isn't being paid to be a supervisor, therefore isn't going to supervise.
what the fuck? i know he was doing it as a joke, but at the same time he is serious...
it is fucked.
seriously this guy is a tool. constantly saying he isn't going to do things that he isn't getting paid for.
am i wrong thinking that he IS getting paid to at least let the other guy know what is going on?
then sometimes he tells me what to do, i feel like saying "you're not my supervisor, do it yourself"

then i have to come in the afternoon sometimes, and there is a shitload of stuff left to do that should have been done in the morning. sometimes there is a legitimate excuse, sure but it makes me work really bad when i am working with him cos how much he doesn't care.

he sounds like a wanker tbh. you should probably entice him into a backroom with the promise of sex, then when he's almost undressed take a couple of pics on his phone and then threaten to send them to your manager and the herald sun if he doesn't resign.
