FUTURO GLOBAL WAREHOUSE MELTDOWN-TONIGHT! Feb 19th
with underground sonic ambitions as it's motivations... Uber Lingua drops
FUTURO GLOBAL - WAREHOUSE MELTDOWN
SATURDAY FEB 19 : 9pm to 5am!
this summer's been a bit haphazard weather wise in Melbourne town, so we felt we'd throw you something to remind you these ARE the warmer months
following on from the previous themed parties of last summer, we're pushin the core UL objective... planetary diversity! connecting with the worldwide global bass explosion... featuring the usual collision of Dancers, VJs, DJs & MCs...
if you came to the previous warehouse meltdowns, maybe you're in these photos

Once again, we're expecting it to be hot (hence the meltdown title). This edition draws cultural and musical source from the hot spots of planet earth... Be it the Americas, Central Asia, Australasia, Indian Sub Continent, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa or wherever, the inspiration will be core-energy infused 'lose it on the dance floor' stuff.
within the mix will be the sounds of Moombahton - Aciton - Reggaetron - Dread bass - Tropical step - Nueva Cumbia - Dumbia - Tango espacio - Flamenco galactico - Tecnobrega - Mangue-step - Kuduro - Gnawa-electronic - Afro-tek - Post Bhangra - Carnatic-bass - Ottomashup - Balkan-core - electro swing and much more...

Re: FUTURO GLOBAL WAREHOUSE MELTDOWN-This Sat Feb 19th
Artist roster announced;
Quad-lingual MC Mars E Pan returns from a long stay in Rio working with heralded funk producers alongside performing at favela parties, to deliver her freshly tapped core carioca energy.
Video screens will be fed by Siadatz who since 2007 has been developing dedicated planetary video mash as uber lingua’s chosen VJ.
In keeping with the tradition of dance performance being part of these events... samba, african, dancehall and bellydance performers will seamlessly grace the podiums unannounced throughout the night. You may have seen the work of Claudia, Etoile, Melusina & sword specialist Ekaterini (pictured below) at our previous parties.
Selector wise there’s laptoppers, CD DJs and vinyl junkies galore to feed the solid sound system we’re putting in this one off fitzory environment…
555 (cinco cinco cinco) returns from a 5 month wander thru Berlin, Budapest, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Istanbul and other places, piled up with burning street sounds.
Wanklerotaryengine was a crowd favourite at past meltdowns and is known for taking things into quite intense zones. Hear his promo mix here http://soundcloud.com/uberlingua/wanklerotaryengine
Lady Banton is a seasoned dancehall, dubstep and reggae DJ with a strong connection to the digital Caribbean. Expect ‘diverse dirty bass’.
Discotecadéliador from Brasília taps the high-tech sounds of the Amazon, the dry Brasilian Northeast, and core energy from Rio’s Favelas.
Lord Lingham explores the electronic end of the sub continent, middle east, africa and europe in his DJ sets. Hear his promo mix here http://soundcloud.com/uberlingua/lord-l ... uro-global
Macro warms the space with a hip hop and jazz infused mix of lingoes.
Of course the real party is the crowd, you are what have made these great parties in the past…
This is a private event, and you are invited. To avoid randoms coming in off the street we’ve come up with a password. The password is ‘MOTHER TONGUE’. Remember that in case you get asked when entering the party. Feel free to share that with friends you want to bring along.
Be early as this event has limited capacity! BYO
