Vanese Smith aka Pursuit Grooves is an electronic music producer, vocalist and live performance artist living in Brooklyn, New York. ‘Foxtrot Mannerisms’ was her first release on Tectonic Recordings, seeing the Bristol label stepping sideways to explore genres different, yet related, to the dubstep it’s famous for. Her live show is a mix of energetic beats, cinematic interludes and sultry vocals that no one else on the scene delivers.

Great night!! Teebs was fantastic as expected. Stoked I scored some of his artwork too.

Set-up, lighting and visuals were awesome. Was very cool to see the VJ doing his thing in the crowd using an iPad!

Only downside were the drink prices. $10 for a Bulmers is taking the piss!

Big ups to all who came down!!!! We were definitely treated to a good night of music. Diversity was fantastic. Teebs was awesome. Mark Pritchard was superb as always. Mark's set always takes the crowd on a journey. No need for double drops or special tricks, he is one of the best selectors we have the privilege of seeing play.
Calibre & DRS <--- great set and great music. My kind of d'n'b. Joe Seven playing to a full danceflooe in back room with his dnb was great to see and finally our own DJ DUST, her last set before moving to NYC. A big thank you for her work, tireless promoting and for playing at all The Operatives shows over the last however many years. She's been a big part of The Operatives and will be missed dearly by all. Wishing her all the best in the BIG APPLE!!!!

Next up for The Operatives, its Signal presents Chris Clark, Robin Fox, Mark Pritchard + more!!!!!!!!!

I will miss you guys SO much! Has been amazing being part of the Operatives for the last 6 years or so. Couldn't think of a better group to be associated with. Can safely say no one pushes the underground sounds more tirelessly or with more consistent quality.

Anyway, getting emo. Was a great night. I can safely say that Mark Pritchard is one of my fave djs ever, such a class act. And Calibre and DRS were great too. I have to say that I wasn't that in to Teebs. I didnt think he had any flow to his set and he turned all the gains up WAY too high so it was a bit abbrasive.

Agree with dust, Teebs didnt quite live up to my expectations but Harmonic 313, yet again, was AMA-ZING!

nice start with the hip hop heavy set from dust. mad boogie to joe's set. calibre delivered

BU uberlooseness. fikuss was so funny- drunkkkkkkers

mad night- danced solid for about 4 hours. not bad for an old mare. total death the next day though zomg
