some douche bag stole my camera on the weekend. that sucks becoz there's pics on there i can never replace.

in general i reckon the state of societal values is pretty crap

in the last couple of months: someone pulled out the trees i planted at my house, presumably to plant in their own backyard then some other stain slashed our car roof. now the camera.

a few weeks ago my friend ran outside with an armful of tools to a break up a dog fight, dropping the tools in her rush. she raced the dog to the vet and came back to find some asshole had stolen the tools

then we have f#ckwits stoning swans and the like

social fabric is polyester crap imo

it's truly disheartening

People have left some pretty valuable stuff at my work....phones/wallets and the like. Wouldn't be able to get to sleep at night after pocketing any of it

Had someone leave an Iphone on the counter about a year back. First person to notice it was some cockhead customer who just picked it up in front of all of us, showed it to his mate and was like "sweet, score". I asked if he was for real or not and he said something like "what does it matter to you". Told him it didn't particularly matter to me but that if the poor prick whose phone it was returned to grab it, which clearly was bound to happen, that I wouldn't hesitate to help him get it back with footage and a police statement. Only then did he decide to give the thieving a miss and stormed back to his car having a sook as if I'd ruined his night or something. Sure enough the owner returned about 3 minuted later and thanked us profusely for keeping it safe

This is the society we live in. About 95% of the time I truly hate this country and the lack of moral values most of its citizens exhibit. More and more lately I'm overwhelmed with a sense of dread every time I have to go out in public, coz I'm almost certain I'll witness or be subject to some kind of outright cuntish behaviour

a lot of people are pricks and selfish, but there are lots out there who aren't. i just do my bit, get up for the elderly to sit on the tram, keep doors open for people, hand in stuff you find, don't cut people off in traffic, if you bump someone on the street apologise to them, etc etc

lead by example, and make the pricks feel bad for being pricks

i said arrogant OR sociopath. some people are so arrogant they can never admit to being wrong. So those people would be rude and not admit that they are being rude if someone pulled them up on it. Sociopaths are generally the type to never admit they are wrong as well.

However, there are arrogant people or pricks out there who are rude, but would probably not realise they are being this way, or being taken that way.

Except of course when they do actually fuck something up, then they get the tonne of bricks that's owing to them
