Ok so i have done a lot of griping about my job recently...especially about the unprofessional ability of the companies owners son (previously referred to as Vlad the Inhaler) and his inability to update or upkeep the IT systems here, especially my request to have Adobe CS5 installed on the systems..
Now two days ago my whole computer suffered a major breakdown..so i asked once again for an upgrade to windows7 and CS5.

I finally left him on his own at 9pm last night to see what would eventuate...and finally after 6 months nagging....I HAVE CS5!!!

Im so happy...the comp is runnin faster than a flu infected nasal cavity and i can finally get back to doing A+ Grade artworkz!!

BIG UPS VLAD THE INHALER!!! I take everything i said back...well....almost everything. Your still a tossbag and that will never change :)

If you're in a practical position to drop everything and leave, I say do it. There will be a point where you won't be, so I reckon do it while you can.

Thanks lady! :D

Was unsure whether I was going to take the position as it was first put to me - very little in terms of career progression etc, so have negotiated something much better and mutually beneficial. Totes exciting and so thankful now for my 8 months of uncommitted nomadness - means I can just fuck off with little disruption.

Definitely on the holyfuckihavesomuchtodointhenextfourweeksidon'tevenknowifit'shumanlypossiblewithoutaclone rollercoaster! :joy:
