List of venues suitable for dance parties

I'm looking for a venue to throw a party to cater to about 150-200 people and I need a venue.

I don't know Melbourne as well as some of you so I just wondered if it would be valuable, perhaps not just to me, to have a list of venues in the city that are decent, with sound.

Could be a bar, a club, doesn't really matter but I'm looking for something a bit different. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Oh it sounds so clandestine when you say it like that! How exciting.

I'm just trying to figure out if there's any little venues that people are aware of that I'm not, power of the tinternet an all that.
