rad anime. saw a bit of the first ep last night. downloaded it today. its really good. quite amusing. action packed. its a cartooon. its all good.
fansubs are getting rather good arent they.
:burgers:
i used to love anime, now i find most of it well shithouse.
aquarion (director of macross!) and gunbuster 2 ~
tv tv
smallville!!, Lost , The OC, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT ! The simple life(theres just something about it), BSG, sg1 + Atlantis, Alias, Enterprise, Scrubs, King Of the Hill, Family Guy, Jack and Bobby, ...
so when i add it up, its a lot of tv, but eh, my teachers encourage us to watch more movies and tv!

ive always been a bit of an anime freak. went thru a large DVD buying stage, but now i just grab the fansubs cos its hella cheaper and they are really really good quality these days.nhd wrote:i used to love anime, now i find most of it well shithouse.
ive got too many on the go now. im getting stories mixed up. haha.
hell yeh, i'm in the same boat. my mate has like a terrabyte of fooking fansubs. he still has to sort me out. Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Blame, Stellvia... the list goes on.Ag3nT[]0raNg3 wrote:ive always been a bit of an anime freak. went thru a large DVD buying stage, but now i just grab the fansubs cos its hella cheaper and they are really really good quality these days.nhd wrote:i used to love anime, now i find most of it well shithouse.

oh I managed to smooch a movie he recently downloaded called "appleseed" I watched the intro of it, and it's definately a sick movie. up there with the original ghost in the shell for cell animation and storyline, visual gore etc... some matrix type slo-mo things going on, but it works well with the intro sequence and nothing to be scoffed at -- because if an anime can do it better than real action, that's saying alot
APPLESEED >> Learn this name
my mates also downloaded some crazy chinese/korean flicks that have been fansubed.
My Sassy Girl (funniest boy/girl movie you will ever see) - american's are doing their own version but american's will stink it up.
The Legend of Zu - Crazy chinese sci-fi/fantasy flick. only seen a bit of it, but get this; there is a guy that looks like a dark angel with metalic wings that act as chainsaw type weapon. Wings that keep rotating and spinning and contorting in the craziest visuals I have ever seen. This movie puts any upcoming western sci-fi to shame. It's a very dark film -- if you thought the spawn could create shit from his body, you haven't seen shit. I need more time to watch this flick obviously. There is an old dude with a massive white mo like the asian master in Kill Bill. was funny
Casshern - another sci-fi from japan. looks very cool. cyber ninja style shiz. was a great comic in japan for a while and has been ported to live action for everyone's visual pleasure

that's cool... for some reason we finish work here at 5.01pm... not 5.00pm, but 1 minute later (fucked if i know why... i always get so much done in that last minute) then to rebolter to pick up outstanding $$$, maybe exploit loki's generosity for a while... that should take us thru till at least after peak hourAg3nT[]0raNg3 wrote:i got plenny of blanks.fmf wrote:that would be well choice... how bout i pick up some blank dvd & bring em past hoth 'sarvo
