Quick update from me:

I now have $200 worth of Melbourne Central gift vouchers after twisting my bosses arm.

I will be talking to a number of Melbourne Central retailers today to see if they are prepared to donate any further gift vouchers to support - a bit of a long shot but we'll give it a bash. Any vouchers will be given to Glenn tomorrow morning.

Cheers

Good work GM!

Are you able to get them to the Agent MAD office as that's where the prize is being put together!

Or if not Glenn are you able to bring them down later in the day?

doesn't the 3 for $10 encourage people to buy more? The more sold the better...

Ani wrote:oh, i was thinking of pulling a random up to draw it or a dj...
we discussed it earlier in the thread ;)
i think we kinda thought it would be safer to draw it the following monday and announce the winner on the website and call them to collect it...
also i don't reckon we should bring the whole prize down to the venue. i don't reckon it's safe! better to maybe have pic of it and a list of what it contains....

hmm, sorry but to me, if i were in the crowd, I'd want to know that night, probably trust it more seeing it drawn with my own eyes, and would probably have lost my tickets by the monday.....

I saw it discussed earlier, but didn't realised it had be decided absolutely.

Still don't need to bring it to the venue, I, and maybe with someone else, can deliver it on the monday, or they can pick it up...

hmmmm.
yeah but i don't reckon people need the ticket to collect it! it's ok if they lose it. i reckon people who are selling them just make people write their name and number on the stub...
i think we need to be selling tickets right until close and not everyone is still going to be there at close so just drawing it at the end and calling out a winning name / number won't work!

I personally think that 3 for $10 will get more sold and more money in, I wouldn't buy more than one generlly, but deals like that always suck me in.

BRB, when you get on the mic I reckon you're gonna have to give the raffle a big plug so ppl know what's in it.

Signs will be good, but we really wanna make sure everyone knows so we can raise as much money as possible.
